On Sundays I try to do something fun or at the last different from the rest of the week. When Kansa and I first got married, we agreed that I would do the cooking as long as she cleaned up after the meal. I like to cook and she doesn’t. But this last Sunday I decided to both fix the meal and clean up after words. The meal was simple but it turned out wonderfully.
I had some flower, oil, eggs and all that I needed to make Pizza Dough. After that I cooked some chicken with some diced potatoes, onions and green beans. I cooked the mix like a skillet and and ed a 1/4 of a jar of spaghetti sauce. I than covered the bottom of a small pot with the dough but not before I greased the pan with bacon grease that I saved from breakfast. After the dough was placed, I filled the dough with the skillet content that was just made. I than cover the content with more dough and placed the cover pot in the oven that was already preheated to 425°. In my oven the dish was done in less then 15 minutes. The prep time brings the total prep time to about 45 minutes. Kansa and I enjoyed the dish and we even had leftovers for lunch the next day.
We spent about $3.50 per person on this dish, which brings us to about $14.50 that we have spent of our $50.00 weekly cap. $35.50 to go and it is only Monday. Can I do this?
