All of my adult life I have heard the BS about how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Well for the most part the people who I work with who most would call rich are vary involved in their churches and pay more then 10% to their tything.
Beyond that since I have started the Network, I have seen their faces light up as we go out onto the streets of Portland with pickups filled with food and camping gear to distribute to the homeless so there have a chance to stay warmer as the shelters get filled with the women and children. I should also add that the food and gear was donated by local companies owners and not the companies themselves.
So maybe the next time you here about the Rich getting richer you should look at the poor man who is saying it. After all no one who I work with started out rich. They got where they are through diligence and hard work. The poor man saying it, however, might spend his whole paycheck on beer, drugs and tobacco, while complaining about the Rich who is being expected to pay for the poor man’s food and kids education. It is choice that mad the difference in the two men’s lives.
If the Rich man spent all his time on an X-box as a child he too would probably not in the Sam position as the poor man. Instead he did his homework and did not give into the indoctrination propaganda of the public education system. If you want to succeed in life you must set aside your natural man and discipline yourself to achieve your goals. We all have dreams in our lives but most of us give up too easy and then start to complain and those who didn’t. The Bible says that we should not cover, rather we should have faith that hard work and the willing ness to study will get us to were we want to be.
The Network sponsors homeless youth so they can learn how to get and stay off the streets. But we never ask for donations, instead we ask the you by our product and services so we can direct fund to the program. If you want to help click here.
