After busting my ass for 2 weeks straight, to get the plant spotless, I was fired. Not because of my performance, but rather because I could not get over the shitting way the staffing services had been treating us from day one.
I tried to look the other way, but to give up is not in my nature. The way the staffing service was treating us, is wrong and every one complained about it to each other, but no one would do anything about it. So I took it on myself to speak up. As a result I lost my job.
It should be a slap in the face to get fired from any job. But the truth is that I hated my boss so much that I was getting physically ill. The way the company is run eliminates any recourse for abuse towards the Associate from the office personal. When I pointed out that one of the Account Managers for one of their biggest accounts was abusing her position, the staffing services had a meeting among themselves and of course found that there was no abuse of power. What a crock, the owner should at leased asked the Temps who work at the site. But after further investigation on my own I found that this was a company policy.
I have always said that staffing services in general are just legalized traffickers of Human Slavery. The best way that anyone can defend themselves from the entrapment of Human Slavery is to stay out of debt and always stay informed about trends that are happening in your specific industry. The staffing services tend to do a bias investigation when any charges are brought up against one of their own. (“Their own,” meaning anyone who works in their office.)
Several years ago a lead was abusing her power and the service at the time came out to the site and slanted the questions towards the favorable outcome of the leads position. They took advantage of the fact that the Associates are always concerned about keeping their job and the investigations outcome was tainted.
The working environment for the Temporary worker in America has in many ways reverted back to the days of the industrial revolution. Larger companies are starting to use Temps rather than higher more of their own workforce as a safeguard against a unionized workforce. A Auto Warehousing Company has been handing out jobs that are rated for union pay inspite of the fact that it is a Teamster shop.
This underhanded behavior is partly due to the fact that the lower management or red circle, as it is called at the work site, gets a bonus for keeping the labor cost low. So they ask Temps to do the work for less money and keep the staffing services in the the Work Site Management’s pockets, this in turn weakens the already established union and reclaims the industrial power that was lost by the establishment of the Unions during the height of the individual revolution. I was fired because I stood up for the Temps who have been too afraid to speak out. I was fired because I represented the pure work ethic that the New Gentry has always feared.
As I have always said, the Urban Problem starts with the fear of the masses and those who aren’t fearful get eliminated before their spark can take hold. At present over 85% of America’s workforce is working in some form of Temporary Employment. Industry fears that a second industrial revolution is on the brink, for the only difference between the Temp and the Child in the sweatshops is their age.
I have been threatened by the staffing service who fired me, about publishing anything like this, so if you don’t hear from me, it is because I am in jail. My wife went to pick up my last check and they also threatened her job as well. So I am sure that I have opened up can can of worms.
I mean think about it! Many of these Temporary Employees are driving Frontloaders and Backhoes, this is skilled labor and we are only worth the minimum wage?
